Areas of Focus

Anxiety, Stress & Depression

When anxiety, stress, or depression begin taking over your thoughts, relationships, or daily routines, it is easy to feel stuck. The goal is not to eliminate every difficult emotion, but to help these challenges take up less space in your life.

Life Transitions & Relationships

Parenthood, marriage, relationships, and other major life changes can bring unexpected challenges. When the ways you once approached life or connected with others no longer feel right, it can be difficult to know what comes next.

Trauma & Grief

Loss and painful experiences can continue shaping how you see yourself, others, and the world long after they happen. Healing does not mean forgetting the past. It means learning to carry it differently, with less weight and more freedom to move forward.

Approach

An integrative approach to therapy, where understanding leads to meaningful change.

Difficult thoughts and emotions are often trying to get your attention. Rather than treating them as isolated problems, we look at what may be beneath them: the needs, boundaries, experiences, and beliefs that shape how you see yourself and respond to the world. In therapy, we explore these patterns, identifying what still supports your life and what may be keeping you stuck, so understanding can lead to clearer choices and real change.

My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused strategies to help with what is happening day to day, while also making room for deeper reflection. Together, we build tools you can use immediately, while working toward less reactivity, stronger relationships, and a life that feels more like your own.

“Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings.”

About

Hi, I’m Amanda.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of South Florida and nine years of clinical experience. My background includes outpatient therapy with individuals and couples, as well as crisis stabilization in an acute psychiatric setting.

Therapy with me is focused on helping people better understand themselves, make sense of what they’ve been carrying, and create steady, meaningful change. My style is collaborative and grounded, focused on clear thinking, honest self-inquiry, and practical steps toward change.

If you’re looking to examine the patterns that shape your life, understand what’s driving your choices, and move forward with intention, let’s talk.
